Dear Mr. Rebs,
since september 1997, our electro-locomotives of
the type BR E-110 (~400 pcs.) are equipped with REBS wheel flange
lubrication systems, because we had decided to take your system after
an invitation to tender.
The reasons for our decision were:
- the non-complicated design of your single-line system
- the comfortable control with test function
- the results of the extensive examination of the operation of the
system, for example at extreme temperatures with dry and humid air, at
the testing-stand of the Research- and Technology Centre of the German
Railways in Munich.
Today, we can confirm, that your wheel flange lubrication systems prove to be successful to our full satisfaction.
The expected effect of reduction of wear and tear at the system rail/wheel takes place as can be proved.
A very positive echo can also be found for the detailed documentation, that is delivered with the systems.
The
positive results have got us to decide to install your system also at
the Diesel-locomotive type BR 218 (~400 pcs) this year.
