With our technical know-how and expertise, e.g. through precise application of minimal lubricant quantities, we make an active contribution to protecting the environment. Also in the development of systems with a return flow tank and return of the oil we believe it is important to promote conscious and efficient use of resources. By joining the sustainability initiative “Blue Competence” of the VDMA (German Engineering Federation) REBS once again demonstrates its commitment in this field.

Since 2001, REBS has been offering apprenticeships and supporting the IHK (German chamber of commerce and industry) in test procedures. By taking apprentices, REBS contributes in getting young people acquainted with technology and the working world. An apprenticeship at REBS not only is fun, but also offers prospects for career development. This is proven by the high number of employees, who remained loyal to the company since their apprenticeship.

On April, 4th 2017 the occupational safety management system (AMS) of REBS Zentralschmiertechnik GmbH was newly survieyed by the Professional Association of Wood and Metal (BGHM). The BGHM confirmed after the successful new survey with the ATMS Certificate that REBS Zentralschmiertechnik GmbH fullfills the requirements of a systematical and effective employment protection for the quality seal

“Sicher mit System” (Systematic Safety)

according to trad specific implemantations of the “Nationale Leitfaden für Arbeitsschutzmanagementsysteme”. It is valid till march 2020. With the survey is is confirmend futhermore that the guidelines of OHSAS 18001:2007 have been implemented.
In 2014 REBS Zentralschmiertechnik GmbH was awarded for the first time with the occupational safety quality seal “Sicher mit System” (Systematic Safety) for the introduction, assessment and certification of its occupational safety management system (AMS). The “Sicher mit System” quality seal is an occupational safety management system which companies with up to 250 employees can receive.

Commitment to social responsibility is another matter to which huge importance is attached at REBS. We support various social projects in the Ratingen/Mettmann area such as the purchase of the Lions advent calendar (Lions Ratingen), mentoring, co-sponsor of the vehicle of the Ratinger Tafel and the information bulletin of Johanniter (Mettmann area).
